Their systems weren’t built to handle the massive data volumes and complexity that usage-based models generate. This causes them to leak revenue and respond too slowly to customer demand. DigitalRoute solves this by creating a real-time usage data layer for enterprises. Our products transform raw usage data into clear information for billing, in real time and at a high scale. 

We are looking for a Marketing Intern. This position will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, Americas, and will be a remote position located in the U.S. In this position, you will have the opportunity to see marketing strategies as they form and play a hands-on role.

Specifically, you will:

  • Gain valuable insights into our target audience and learn how to message and position our solution effectively.
  • Learn how to differentiate in vertical markets to understand better what constitutes a market or industry and how to develop programs tailored to targets in those markets.
  • Discover which digital and content marketing tactics have the best opportunity to drive demand by partnering with our Central Marketing team on marketing campaigns and events.
  • Attain channel marketing knowledge through alignment with our partner team and partners on enablement and demand generation activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Create marketing assets from ideation to deployment, working closely with the subject matter experts and the communications and creative team
  • Program manage one or more marketing projects from inception to completion
  • Help plan, organize and participate in a customer or partner event
  • Understand the mechanics of demand generation: from TOFU to Opportunity - generate and track leads from marketing campaign using the available tools
  • Provide support to BDR
  • Develop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in a variety of scheduled meetings
  • Collaborate proactively with the extended marketing organization
  • Other duties on a project-by-project basis as required

We believe you have/are

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year university program pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or Management and have completed at least one (1) year of successful study
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent team and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about marketing, technology, and creating great customer experiences
